@DaveRussell https://stranger.social/@MarshalGrouchy/110018009577023665So Jews continue to celebrate Purim on the sole basis that their ancestors celebrated it.  The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, has many aspects but it has been rendered intractable by the Harredian insistence, that Israel possess all of Biblical  Israel and the Muslim insistence,  that Muslims have sovereignty over (at least!) a portion of Jerusalem because Muhammad  ascended to heaven from the city (which any reasonable person should conclude never happened).
