The shocker should be the AE86. Why do a quarter of Mastodon know the codename of a 2-door Toyota that was only made for 4 years back in the 80s? The answer is of course because you're all Eurobeat weebs and love Initial-D - it was the hero's car used for tofu delivery and wicked drifting.
The thing is, if that's why, then what about the FD. There were two prominent RX7s in Initial-D, and they all called them "the FC" and "the FD" to tell them apart. /shrug

@TomF@mastodon.gamedev.place the fc looks like a porsche 944 but wider, and so is visually distinct, the fd looks like a 90's blob the other cars i will recognize as "wow, that's a sporty 90's blob"

@TomF@mastodon.gamedev.place, knew none of them, but still loved AE86 and 240SX. And I have to say that I rightly guessed R34 to be Skyline though I never liked it. All thanks for video games I had in my childhood.
