@ml@social.mitexleo.one I think the "Iran says" part (and only this part) makes sense from a journalism perspective because as a western newspaper, they have independent sources on the ground in US allies like Israel, while they obviously do not have the same for Iran. However that still hasn't stopped them from just publishing unverified claims of the Israeli government as fact in the past. (and not correcting them even after the Israeli government has admitted they were false)
