It's difficult to ask people to join the Light Music Club, because it puts everything on the line, the benefit is uncertain, the fallout can be difficult to predict. You don't want to miss out on joining the mosque club, synagogue club, board meeting club, leftoid party club, etc. and then sit in class thinking you should've joined the other. Mio, Mugi, Azunyan did the right thing at the right time and are celebrated, there's a dozen others who bungled it and you don't even know their names. Light music is high-risk, high-reward. On the other hand joining the supernatural phenomenon research club is low-risk, medium-reward. If you do it right the chances of getting your strawberry stolen are virtually zero. Blade Runner 2049 fan @Dearsqn has proven that it takes far less time to learn the Hare Hare Yukai dance and the words to "God Knows" than it does to learn to play guitar. It requires even less involvement than Light Music (you just need to sit through the Endless Eight). The Supernatural Phenomenon Research Club is the ideal club to sign up to, the only hurdle is most students lack the technical know-how and those with the technical know-how lack the conviction, and we can fix both of these. Remember: once we graduate, school will end, and there will be no more clubs to be involved in, just soul-crushing salaryman wage slavery, but at least there won't be anyone to enforce cliques anymore so we can kind of do whatever we want.
