@hannaB@social.vir.group A part of the building block in question are concidered worth saving according to the city´s building antiquarian. And will be preserved. However, im thinking of the economic and enviromental impact a demolishion and rebuilding has. Especially when the new area of use will basically be the same as the old one. Demographically nothing will change.

@jimpalimpa@mastodon.nu It depends on what state the concrete and wiring are in after 30 years. Sometimes it's cheaper to start fresh than to patch a crumbling skeleton.
