@KatyElphinstone@mas.to I love to write but I’m having a really hard time writing fiction because when I need to imagine what could happen in my story, only the most logical thing comes to mind. I cannot generate thousand of ideas in a minute, like my peers seem able to do.

@annso@framapiaf.org @KatyElphinstone@mas.to I had to stick to writing technical "thought leadership". I once did a panel about how utterly and depressingly dystopian Star Trek was, because their security was so laughably bad. Why the hell are you people accessing the command deck from the hallways outside the flight deck? What the hell is the use case for that? I'd love to see the approval req on that one. Why is the entertainment system the one system that seems to be sufficiently privileged that it can access absolutely everything? Again, use case? Did we abandon the principle of least privilege in this utopia - no money, no poverty, so no...uh need to protect ourselves from some warring alien empires that might do some espionage, I guess?
