@stooge@438punk.house so, they were set to play films for regards palestiniens in like nov or dec 2023 and they cancelled due to "stakeholder pressure" and they've never really said anything about that, let alone made reparations or anything like that. they're run by the same giant arts org as cinemas du musee and beaubien (maybe others) who get their massive amount of funding from a lot of private donors etc. this is the only one of the things on the list that I'm genuinely sad about bc I loved going there tbc I really do mean everything on this list is me holding a grudge rather than any meaningful kind of boycott. I'm just incapable of forgetting once I'm aware of things like this
