a lot of "world building" conversations should be things you have fake debates about with your friends, not deep elucidating literary analysis "The Zelda timeline" or "star wars space has air" are the realm of low-stakes friend arguments and goofy youtube videos it's a weird mindset to look at a fictional work as a puzzle to be solved, and it's rare for the author(s) of a work to intentionally do it in that way
