I want to know specifically what you're going to try to persuade me to believe so that I can pay attention to the details with a mind to whether or not it's the right way to answer the question. So often I listen to a talk and try to focus on the details and then at the end the big reveal of the result and I'm just left cold because I haven't been able to think about whether or not I can believe it.
