@Cregg@gamedev.lgbt @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net there’s an awful lot of anti-Proton sentiment on mastodon, but the people calling them a “nazi company” are going a bit far.
With the screen shot you posted, Yen is only half-wrong. Look at who’s supporting the cancellation of section 230 protections (it’s both parties. Both parties in the US have been captured by big business)
Maybe he was just optimistic that things would be better under the Trump admin. That’s dumb, but not “nazi shit”

@sfrazer434@mastodon.social @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net neither party is a hero, but Yen celebrating the election results as a way to break up big businesses was a bad move. The administration is made entirely up of big businesses and donors from big businesses, much of which came from the American tech industry. I never claimed they were Nazis, but you can't claim your company isn't political and then make statements like these as a CEO.
