I think some people have paid long term subscriptions to this crap and are trying to convince themselves they made a good clean decision. The CEO is nazi and he hasn’t been fired. There company has left the fediverse and centered on X… that brand is unwashable

No, I don't use or subscribe to Proton VPN, mail, drive or anything else made by them, nor have I ever done so I spent some time a few years ago, trying to find which VPN provider was the "best", I concluded that mullvad was the best option, not only because it's made in Sweden, but because it truly seems to be the best option. Even for my grandfather who wanted to watch local ice-hockey while out of the country If I want the security aspects of a VPN, I'll just start the TOR browser, I don't use a VPN
