@voltrina@voidposter.club i was prepared to dislike him during the whole fiasco about the poop festival thing prior to his releasing the video, but in the actual video, he was surprisingly quick to qualify that it's a feature of the specific town rather than of the whole country. i remain less than fond of the way he initially portrayed it as a feature of the whole country -- i'm sure i can find bizarre festivals in isolated towns in hungary, poland, spain, and certainly the united states, for instance -- but i can understand why "this one town" and "this country" blend together from a distance. heaven knows i know that people here think america is just la and nyc and such for its entire land area.
