A discussion yesterday led me to the revelation that I need either a signet ring or, and I prefer this, to redo my wax seal that I already own because it is so beautiful. The problem is, said seal is made from stone and has my old name on it. ‪The idea would be to have a jeweler make a thing that just gets put over the old seal. Covering up my old name is only second best to completely removing it but alas, I think it'd be difficult to find someone who can carve soapstone like that in Europe (the seal is proper Chinese craftwork).
