@QuakerWanker@laserdisc.party yep! as it would normally be in a sanctioned format. as it stands, IDs aside, cEDH exists in a limbo state of technically supported by the rules but not officially sanctioned or competitively supported by wizards, so all kinds of stuff at events is in part downstream from this and the way TOs choose to carry out and judge events

@CyclopsCaveman@glaceon.social Learning more about Commander makes me think that it would be interesting to attempt a "no table talk" form of competitive commander where discussing deal making, hidden info and collaboration isn't allowed and it's up to players to understand how to best manipulate the game state using their cards. Also ban Rystic Study because that card is stupid.
