To be clear, the reason Booksmith stopped selling Rowling's books was not simply because of her anti-trans views, but specifically because of her decision to launch and pour her money into an anti-trans fund.

@funcrunch@me.dm Maybe they could /should add a surcharge to her books and donate the proceeds to some sort of trans support fund, instead? If the amount they donate is more than the funding she puts into her cause, it could be more effective. Something about not distributing books rubs me the wrong way.
