There was a need for a Minecraft server last night so I did a speed run and somehow decided to boot up a Oracle Linux VM to get that going. (The Oracle Cloud free tier is great! You get 4 ARM64 Ampere CPUs + 24GB RAM + 200GB disk that you can mix in any combination) But now I have an RPM based VM which is like completely weird for me after decades of Debian / Ubuntu. Everything it outdated and defaults like `htop` are not present. Such a different world. Worth learning?
