@cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family this is part of the reason I lost interest in maintaining geoclue. This was announced a while ago though so it's no news to me but even before the retirement was announced, MLS had been more or less unmaintained for several years. Geoclue will be unreliable and inaccurate as hell w/o this service on most computers out there. Very very sad. :(

@cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family oops, I remember incorrectly. It was Mozstumbler that was retired in 2021 but w/o any replacement to that, this was just inevitable. I'm actually surprised it took 3 years still.
