@titaniumbiscuit@nerdculture.de @Skirmisher@snoot.tube @rysiek@mstdn.social specifically the intended recipient should set up the capture tool, and start it recording. the other person should then send an image link or something (not an image file, a web address that points to one), as the very first message between those two people. once the request appears, visually verify that there's no preview of the image or site appearing.
