Lately #rust for #embedded becomes more and more usable. Stable esp-hal is very convenient and does not require bleeding edge packages anymore, you can live on stable breach. I found a LilyGo T-Encoder-Pro in a drawer and generated a readable firmware with Claude Code without much suffering and hitting LLM limitations: https://github.com/rayslava/rust-enc At least ESP targets now can be embraced really easily, I like that.
