@Gargron@mastodon.social it’s such a bad thing to conflate lowering barrier of entry with lowering permissible skill ceiling. :(
hell yes to making it easier to start doing things! but this systematic deskilling of people is such a harmful thing.

@gekitsu@toot.cat @Gargron@mastodon.social yes. I’m all for broadening the adoption of tech by lowering the skillset needed, but providing the access to customization & tools for learning how is vitally important both for public knowledge and also for ongoing independence.
