I know what are the main components, how they wear off and why, and I know what is meant to be reviewed and serviced any time I check the car in for service. I can't fix them but I can have an educated conversation and spot abuses to judge if I should take the car somewhere else. The amount of people that relate to the above re. cars is overwhelmingly higher than the amount of people that know how much RAM their computer has.
