I think it helps that the regulations proposed here (unlike NJ) are:
- Well-thought out
- Offered from a committee that put a bunch of effort into crafting good recommendations
- Those recommendations are followed by the regulation
- Focusing on real problems in our shared off-street spaces.

The reality is that I think most e-bike riders find the experience of owning one to be transformative, and we do not want to lose that in favor of aggressive over-regulation caused by a hackneyed attempt to regulate e-motos and electric dirt bikes hitting every kind of electric bike as collateral.
