But she was 16 and the vet was really good about not pushing management that prolongs her suffering.
We're only this miserable because she made us so happy, and that's a thought thats making it a little easier.
And the best thing we could do because we loved her so much was let her go with dignity before she became more of a husk of who she really was.
I lightly joke it's a sausage fest now since the remaining pets are all male.

That's what counts. There are plenty of female pets in your local shelter, just saying. Gotta get those numbers up yo.
