@funkula@goblin.camp the two techniques that are easy and create great looking minis are glazing (thin transparent layers, usually darker) and drybrush (paint so thick it is almost dry, very little of it, applied like you're dusting, with a fucked-up brush). Glaze to give shadows and dimension, drybrush texture and highlights

@funkula@goblin.camp these are great because the sculpture does all the work. Watery paint pools in the deep parts of the figure, and when it dries, boom, natural-looking shading.

@Sindemore@monads.online I'm doing a bit with each already. I haven't really found the sweet spot between "just painting really sloppy" and "no discernible effect whatsoever" for drybrushing tho
