But anyway, the thing that has me frustrated and anxious to level up was a youtube about priming with an airbrush in multiple shades from different angles to get lighting laid down on the model before you even put color on it. This seems like a really awesome technique that I am unable to do anything with because I don't have an airbrush and haven't used one since high school anyway, so I doubt I could even get much of anywhere with one. But my friend who's doing this with me does have an airbrush, so I hope to visit him maybe this weekend and get some practice with his before buying one myself (sometime down the road when I have discretionary income, or any income for that matter, again)

I think I need to put the Warhammer away for a little while. I just don't have the motivation or energy for it right now, due to the aforementioned skill/perception gap and, y'know, constant pain from ongoing health crisis. Been feeling vaguely guilty about diving into this new project instead of doing anything with my gunpla backlog anyway, so I think I'll switch to that until after I get home from surgery. Requires less focus and is easier to see progress even if I don't get after it for very long so I think it's something I should do

@funkula@goblin.camp getting some cheap, big makeup brushes and drybrushing the lighter shades on is what i do for that instead of airbrushing - way cheaper and easier to clean
