@mspcommentary@mastodon.online The government had no interest in fixing Trenitalia and tried to block Italo best it could. A similar thing is playing out in France right now. There are plenty examples for both the private and the public sector being terrible. Makes me think that how you organise the thing is less important than setting rules that encourage providing a good service. Sadly, that’s the tricky bit.
