@thegarbagebird@theblower.au For years, both major parties treated negative gearing and the CGT discount like sacred texts. Touch them and you’re untrustworthy. But untrustworthy to whom? Property investors with three houses, or the generation locked out of one? A government finally admitting that the needs of the people sometimes means breaking a promise that was protecting the wrong people. (Lets face it, it's not the same as No cuts to education, No cuts to ABC, No cuts ....)
