I just discovered there is a term for why Trump, and other conmen, are so successful... Brandolini's Law: The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it. So they spew bullshit and everyone follows behind trying to clean it up, never catching up because they are already spewing more bullshit.
