@MostlyBlindGamer thanks, I kinda postponed this decision because I want one keyboard for gaming and one for work. So I found a gaming one with german layout that I like. But when it comes to the other I will face it again. I know that for programmers a lot of keys are more convenient. I also had a keyboard here yesterday which I returned, where I could try the american layout. I'm not sure if I want to learn it or not. But if I want to be able to customize my keyboard I probably have to, right? But maybe someone out there has built a hybrid layout by exchanging certain keycaps and generating a logical layout resembling that that I can download or something. The Umlauts are kind of important ;)
