well, that's where ambient noise helps, sleeping with a loud enough cyclic noise has the effect of drowning out other noises and making even loud ones seem quieter, recently that i've been sleeping with a fan at full blast cuz of the heatwave every other night noise may as well be non existant. if it is too cold for ya to even have an old pc fan running somewhere in yer bedroom then ya could play fan noise over a speaker just loud enough to drown noises from the neighbors

  • @EdBoatConnoisseur@poa.st @tobias@poa.st absolutely, I use the whitenoise of the Android Sleep app, too used it for years now, even when I use the earplugs about the PC... I used to have it on 24 hours, I still kinda do, but I put it on hybrid sleep when I go sleep, I "turn it on" pressing any key from the keyboard so... I still cannot believe that works on Linux, I remember only 10 years ago it was random luck, how far we have come :blobcatbigsob:
