An interesting quote.
I was thinking about this yesterday in terms of Trump's crimes.
Now that he won the popular vote in the majority, how do we as a country interpret this?
Does the fact that nobody seems to care that he broke the law - and have indirectly voted on it - make it not a crime?
The literal answer is no - he still committed a crime.
It's just that most people don't think it matters or that he s/not/be punished . I wonder if the Supreme Court has the same view?
