@kshernandez@me.dm well, if it was declared an accident, I guess that would mean Columbo's investigating outside of regular protocol? idk. From what I read it seems like an inquest is to determine cause of death and enable signing of the death certificate (she just referred to "the coroner's jury"). It's not used to determine guilt. #ColumboTV ETA: yes I think it's mostly for the coroner and signing the death certificate. Mb "accidental death" doesn't necessarily rule out police investigation
