I think all you need to know is that it was an influence by right wing agitators to create a wedge issue and get young men to their side. It was very successful in that measure and a lot of male toxicity online today stems from it.

Weird men got super upset that a woman was enjoying their same hobby, and then there was something about feminists ruining everything for them. To be honest I get pretty lost too, but some people are like really obsessed with Anita S and it’s really weird and gross what they did.
