@shafik@hachyderm.io Given the number of articles I’ve read in the Murdoch press where the headline and 90% of the text directly contradicts the data from primary source, I don’t think it’s entirely fair to blame social media.

@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange the growing evidence is that more and more folks primary news source is social media. Combined with a lack of fundamental understanding of economics is bad. Mainstream news does not do a great job with economics e.g. there are two sides to trickled down economics, it is accepted fact it does not work.
