I would like to believe that. But looking at the number of sites I visit that are brimming with animations, I could not help but laugh at that statement.

@bjorndown@mastodon.social In fairness, it's possible to *both* be concerned about browser performance *and* send 100MB of JavaScript dependencies to the browser ;) Being concerned about something doesn't mean that it's, on balance, a valid concern haha @jensimmons@front-end.social
