@swachter@toot.boston Do you know if Boston area libraries have programmer friendly API search?
I've just moved to the area, is there a library exchange where I could use a Medford library card with adjacent libraries?

@shapr@recurse.social Not sure about APIs but most libraries in the eastern part of the state are part of the Minuteman system, which definitely gets you access to several neighboring towns including (but not limited to) #Cambridge, #Somerville, and #Arlington. Also Medford has a totally dope Library of Things where you can get all kinds of neat stuff - we just checked out a #playstation and we’ve previously borrowed a dehydrator. Also household tools, drills, kill-o-watts, craft tools, board and video games, kitchen equipment ✨ and much more ✨ EDIT: and I didn’t even mention the #makerspace with 3D printers, laser cutters, and sewing machines. #Medford #PublicLibrary is SICK.
