@resl@mas.to @AccordingtoWouter@mastodon.world I've had that conversation where I complained that the queer dance scene in my area mainly communicates via Instagram and WhatsApp. (Hence I'm also there, because...we live in a society.) And the response from one organiser to my suggestion of Fediverse was ignorant interest, they simply did not know of the alternatives. Maybe there's hope.
