i know i know, this is just 2015 tumblr oppression olympics discourse. been there done that i still feel that the usage of transness/adhd/autism/chronic illness/trauma as predefined personality/identity building blocks is sort of problematic. ok ok so you are all of these things, but the really important part remains unanswered, and that part is what is your favorite corvid and why

i swear i've been in spaces where people have the urge to blurt out "i'm nonbinary! and i have adhd!" the moment they see a non-white person, as a way to preemptively absolve themselves of the original sin of their birth it's soooo incredibly awkward

@mokosh@weirder.earth I think our favorite corvid is probably the blue jay – it's a standout among the birds of our area because it's blue and very handsome. actually, a while ago we were drawing a set of custom art pixel-art playing cards in PICO-8 with a theme of seasons, and we put a blue jay on one of the cards to represent March, around the beginning of spring!
