@chickamora@mastodon.social @pluralistic@mamot.fr my thought is getting solar on private homes is eminently sensible - put the power gen right where its used! Win! However putting batteries on private homes is madness - that should be the grid’s job, along with community batteries! (Edit: ah, i hadn’t found Cory’s article yet - I’m Australian and the experience has been generally good here, with a minimum of shonky operators)
