I can imagine enshittified solar, like needing to pay a subscription for your charge statistics or something, but I think of private residential solar as more akin to self-hosting / open source / DIY. Note: I live in a rural area with no apartments / other shared housing. Not sure if this is really more a take on housing than solar?
