@emptyvessel_nz@social.bitwig.community nice. More and more I want to automate live sample recording and playback with hardware. That's not as easy as I'd hoped with the SP-404 so I'm drifting to using ipad more so that I'm stopping short of a laptop as my studio brain for the recording part, but i don't know how long I'll hold out.

@octif@social.bitwig.community yeah, triggered/sequenced sampling and playback is a big strength of the Octatrack but I know lots of people shifting to iPads for that and more. Hardware recording brain for me is a reel to reel but I just got an older laptop to slot in there, at some point a computer just makes more sense, financially if nothing else!
