I did it!! & I think I didn't even fuck myself up too badly in doing so. The pollen was milder than expected; so was the heat, humidity, &c. Now there's substantially less nutsedge taking over this one spot (& don't get me wrong, I know it's edible but it has plenty of other spots it can pop up instead if it likes). I'm hoping that if going to an important appointment tomorrow doesn't drain me both physically & emotionally, I can finish up this spot & do some other spot-weeding elsewhere. Meanwhile my owner was able to clear a spot for our second herb bed to get assembled. There are several more steps remaining before we can make that bed operational & transplant the various starts we've had in smaller containers for weeks, but I look forward to not only the transplanting but also going absolutely apeshit on tidying up the old herb bed. We're going to have a whole new pathway & fencing system that will improve herb maintenance for my body soooo much in months to come. All of this stuff is massively behind schedule, but we've had extenuating circumstances & it is what it is.
