New pc parts today! gotta back up my stop-gap server on my old laptop because that'll be a PITA to set up again before I move that to the new server PC i'm making. but under broader consideration I consider all the files on my desktop to be fairly fungible, and it'll probably be faster to re-download all my games instead of backing up and restoring through a USB 3.0 portable hard drive.
