@kyle@keyboards.social turns out I wasn't crazy because I thought I already knew that its best to format HDD as HFS+. When you select a drive for Time Machine it reformats it into APFS.
What did you do to make it so it only runs on the evenings?

@bbech@mastodon.social Oh weird, I'm doing time machine to an HFS+ raid (but over the network). I use https://tclementdev.com/timemachineeditor/ to schedule them.
