...when she would get on stage and sing karaoke. But with encouragement from her friends (okay, and a shot of whiskey), she got up there and took the mic.
The KJ started her song. She could see Chelsea and Laura in the crowd, egging her on. Chelsea was pumping a fist. 1/2

She took a deep breath, came in right along with the first line, and... she had to admit, she didn't sound that bad. Holy shit! Three minutes later, the crowd was cheering. She rejoined Chelsea and Laura at their table and said, "I want to do that again!" 2/2 #ScribesAndMakers
