Story doesn't make any sense. So they were going to blow up the engine room and then what. Wouldn't it be better to just blow up the gas tank? Also says the mines were covertly attached but they found them anyway. That means they weren't very covertly attached. Almost as if this story was written by a NPC TV educated Indian. "Security services discovered 2 foreign magnetic mines attached near the vessel's critical engine-room section" Thought there was an EU trade embargo with Russia too.
