Swelling Flea #game today, since I edited and loaded new games. This is the union-themed parody of Spelling Bee. I have already heard about "raab" and how it ought to be included. I attempted to make the board accessible, but it would be quite easy to simply create a second view of a word game like this that is actually designed to be fun to play using accessibility technology. But ... I don't have any accessibility tech to play with/test, or insights into how to do that. In the case of a game like this, what should that design be? What are some resources to help understand the best design elements for a screen not just "compliant" but *designed* for accessibility tech? Here, we have a list of 7 letters, and one of them is special - visually arranged as the center hexagon with 6 around it. I need to - enter words using the letters - get feedback if they are right/wrong/ or violate a rule ("must have center letter") - see my score - see the scoring scale - see what words I have gotten - viewing yesterdays game, see what words I got and what I did NOT get
