@midnakrystal@sadbitches.online I think people are influenced by the archetypes without knowing it. You watch Robin Hood and get the "foxes are tricky" thing intuitively and then later maybe thats why you remember foxes being "cool." or you played Twilight Princess and remember wolfs being loyal. Or you had a crush on Midna. either way, wolfs are "hot". etc.

@nycki@critters.gay @midnakrystal@sadbitches.online I made myself a unicorn because I liked the mix of fantasy and real life. Horses are one of my favorite animals for their looks, their smarts, and their lifestyle. I like rabbits for a similar reason but they're different in a lot of ways. Archetypes are fun but I don't care about them as much as the nature. I do struggle with reconciling the physiology of real and fantastical when designing fursonas. I also really like grab bag designs. Unicorns are one of my favorite fantasy creatures.
