While they are white English mysteries, authors Sherry Thomas (w Charlotte Holmes) and Laurie King (Mary Russell, wife of SH.) have each put a twist on Sherlock Holmes canon from much different perspectives. Stories and character studies leading with the women in those times. (Although some books are stronger than others in each series. And, very different from each author’s other series - putting in mildly.)
