I love to live in the Here & Now, and for me it has neither sentimental nor any other value to look back and see how I looked. In fact, I believe there is only the present, a fleeting moment, and everything else is just some kind of fantasy. And if I don't live in that fleeting moment it will pass (it ain't waiting for me) and I will miss the one chance I had to experience that specific Here & Now. The past belongs to the person who I was but aren't anymore; the future belongs to the person who I will be when it arrives; only the present belongs to me, the one who is here. *: Exceptions are a few photos of me as a baby or child – just to srealize that the real me was always in there, until around my 16th birthday.
